Nail Collection 1 & 2

Meet Piggy at IMM for dinner today and happened to find these Nail Collection books in Daiso. They are only at $2 each. Each book has about 32 pages each showing tools used for manicure and different types of nail art design. There are a total of 4 books. I bought only 2 of them as there wasn't book 3 and 4 available. I will be going back another day to check as I wanted to collect them all. Book 1 is a beginner book. It shows you what are the tools needed for manicure, how you go about doing it and simple nail art designs (French, Border and Dot). I find the book really cool and worth the price. Though they were in Japanese but there were loads of pictures provided. Book 2 basically has more complicated nail art designs( Seal, Lace and Stone).

I go for mani and pedicure however only once in a while as they are pricey, usually for occasions or my nails really need a make over, els DIY is a better choice. I actually have a huge collection of mani and pedicure stuff at home. I enjoy buying them however I don't use them as I have no time. Now I have the time and I am going to try it out, will upload photos when I am finished. Hope it turns out good.

Just updated my blog, changed the background as well as the header! I love my header!!!! Thanks to my dear friend Stephanie for making such a chio header for me. Thanks gal! Love ya! I know nothing about photoshop and does not have the program. I was getting sick of my old background and header. The background seems dull and the headers seems small and the more I look at it the more boring it is, however I really love those pictures. I had decided to put only two photos this time, me and my darling, peanut as he is so cuteeee. He is not wearing a pink costume however yellow, a traditional Chinese costume. The picture was taken during Chinese New Year this year. I had steph to change it for me so it matches my pink header! He is no girly. I had also placed a bow on him. I love his new look. He looked so cute and handsome don't you think so?

I am sure everyone knows what Dolly Wink are!! They are the latest and most popular falsies by Tsubasa Masuwaka!! These falsies are currently selling in Japan, Hong Kong and Taiwan so far these are the places that I know are selling them. There was a launch in Singapore as well during Jan at Ngee Ann City's Watson. Not sure if they are still selling. Heard from my friend it will be selling in June. I didn't know what are Dolly Wink till my friend told me. They cost like freaking 1260 yen, which is close to about $30 in sing! OMG. Though they are expensive but I am really tempted to try cause of the pretty packaging and it's selling like hotcakes everywhere. There are also reviews about how soft and natural it is! I'm Back!

I'm back blogging again! For a period of time I was tired of blogging, in fact really busy. I simply have no mood to blog. Right now I am looking for a job so here am I! I hope I can find a job real soon as I am really boredddd at home!!! When I am working I feel like resting and when I am not working I feel bored. Sigh. I can't denied I had a good break!! For the past two weeks I had been practicing piano, catching up with my friends, slacking at home with my lappie, tv and dog and playing badminton! I had played twice in two weeks so far. The feeling of perspiring was great!! I haven't had a good exercise for a long while. I need to burn some fats!! Pig had been complaining of me being fat! :( Bad piggy! I admit I eat lots but I am not fat right? Hehe..

Just attended my sis Kim's wedding. My sis is married!! I couldn't believe it. It all happened too fast. Missed the days we argued and fought. We fought over almost everything. The aircon, bathroom, clothings, phone, everything you can find in the house! It was really funny and now she is married and there is no one to fight with me. Is that good or bad? Good -I can have the whole room by myself. Bad- I have no one to talk to. Nevertheless, I wish her all the best! The wedding is held at Suntec Convention on last Saturday.

Pisces-Aries Match

This year Christmas was a pretty good one. I got to meet up with my ex colleagues, Selene and Joanna, was really glad to see them again. Really missed them loads. We met up in town for dinner to exchange Christmas prezzies. I got a photo album from Joanna and mini dress with hooks that I can put my accessories. It was really cute. I gave them a fondue set each. Hope you girls like it! Cause I like it! LOL! I really love fondue. Basically I love chocolate. What happy was I met up with Piggy on Christmas eve. :D Piggy was on leave. We went to Dozo for dinner. It was a restaurant that I had mentioned to him before which was nice. :) We went home to exchanged prezzies after that. I really like the prezzie. Thanks Piggy. You are really sweet! :) Hope you like my prezzie too. I hope we can celebrate every Christmas together. I love you Piggy.

Langkawi- Sand . Sun . Sea

Went to Langkawi with Piggy during our 6th Anniversary. Had a great time relaxing at the beach. Beautiful water and sand. Weather wasn't as beautiful though. The rain couldn't stop. One minute it was rainy another minute was sunny. How unpredictable! That was the reason for $50 air ticket. The transitional season. I had my first attempt on the jet ski. 30 minutes of excitement and a day of sunburn plus perhaps a year of tanned skin. Sigh.
Didn't mentioned I got attacked by a mysterious bug in the resort. I totally fre*ked out. I didn't dare even looked at the bug. Piggy had covered it with MY towel and dumped it together with MY lovely shell I had picked at the shore onto the balcony. I ended up throwing away both the towel and shell. I enjoyed visiting the underwater world and riding the cable car. The animals were cute and the cable car ride was cool. Breathtaking scenery. Didn't get to snorkel or dive. Am going back there one day just to snorkel and dive and perhaps para-sailing? Alright Piggy? Piggy I hope we have more anniversary to come and we can go travel again. :) Love ya Piggy. :*

Peanut is 6 years old! Time files really fast. I could still remember the first day he came home. He was a cute, furry and black puppy! He changed the colour of his fur overtime, to grey and brown. Here are some photos and video clips taken on his birthday.

My new obsession

Yea, recently watched boys over flowers and fell in love with them. I simply love the show. However the part that I love most was the four good looking korean actors! They are Kim Bum, Kim Jun, Lee Min Ho and Hyun Joong (I just can't pronounce his name!) Out of the four handsome guys, I love Lee Min Ho most, he acted as Jun Pyo in the show. He is just so cute!! Of course my piggy is also cute. Hee. I also like Hyun Joong. He is such a gentle and sweet guy (in the show). I am obsessed with their songs and stuff. The songs were really nice!! I just love yearning of the heart, lucky and a song by someday, not sure of the title.

I really love Korean dramas, though they are loud and talks only about material stuffs and fantasy, I still love them. It is great to get out of the reality once in a while and fantasize about being a princess, having good looking guys and living in a huge mansion.

By the way Lee Min Ho is coming to Singapore on the 24th of Oct! To be able to attend Lee Min Ho's house party and signing event, you need to have a ticket! You got to purchase $15 worth of products from Etude house to entitle to a scratch card. I purchased $30 worth of stuff and got two scratch cards, but sadly, I didn't win! :~( I've got a free Lee Min Ho's folder, fan and some Etude House's face mask though. You get them free with any purchase. I bought some face masks and a hand cream. Not sure if they are good, have not tried using this brand before as I am using Laneige's products currently. Korea products such as Laneige, Skin Food and Etude are selling at a much more cheaper price in Korea. Be sure to get loads of them if you visit Korea!

Butterflies in the stomach

Been really busy with work lately. Is lacking of energy and time to blog. The week doesn't seem shorter when I am busy, instead much more longer in fact. I worked more than 10hrs on certain days, preparing for Lantern Festival, Children Day and Read for Record, which was today. Am totally exhausted but had a great time with the kids. Here are some of the photos I had took at work today. I did face painting for the kids. :D Having camp-over in school tomorrow!

F1 racers right outside my workplace!!! My workplace had recently built a $2m race track. The Kartright Speedway. I could actually see the race track from my windows. Imagine that! The race track used to be a golf club previously. A group of veteran go-karters had decided to built a race track. The race track will be officially opened on the 1st October this year. The track is opened to public (from $30 per 10 minute slot) as well as competitive karters who have their own machines ($60 per three-hour session). The race track will also run a karting academy for children and hold national races.

I had captured these photos using my iphone as my camera battery is dead! I could't take a video or zoom! There was an event going on today at the race track. I thought they were just having a test drive till the country club staff had told me they were the F1!!! I couldn't hear the announcements they were making as the engines were roaring away. I was trying really hard to hear who were the racers and I heard Sebastian. I had watch F1 race previously on tv and it is really exciting to watch live! There will be more events coming up and I hope to see the F1 again and I am so going to try out the race track!! I can't wait! By the way F1 is having a race in Singapore on the 27th this month!

What had I been up to lately? I am not sure either. Felt like a lost sheep. Totally unsure of what I am going or suppose to do. I was really into making of clay accessories one minute and another minute I lost interest. I am pretty sure I will be interested again. Since I really like handicrafts. I am thinking of taking up some classes, piano, amore and driving. I am still thinking till now. It seems like I had decided. I will be starting classes real soon! Basically I am bored, free and being too free sometimes my mind can play tricks on me. It's better if I am occupied. Perhaps it can bring more meaning into my life. What is life exactly about? Work? Family? Love? Friends? Enjoyment?

I am confused. I am still searching.
By the way I went for a badminton game with Samantha and friends yesterday. It was great. I felt I weigh 10kg lighter after the game! All my stress and worries seems to had disappeared for that instant. I felt even better this morning with all the body aches. My muscles had been working and tells me I haven't been exercise for ages! I am going for another game soon.

After that we went Holland Village Breko for a snack.

I am really pleased with my new Sweet Lolita Macaron with strawberry and cream! It turned out great! I will be selling it in my shop. I am trying out different types of macarons currently. This is one of my favorite. Who doesn't like macaron with strawberries and cream? To make this macaron, I got the cream mixure all over my hands! It seems to eat into my skin and it took me a long half an hour to get everything off! I need go get some gloves! So far I really enjoyed making lolita accessories. I am going to stick with it and come up with more new creations! So stay tuned! :D

Second time time at Kushin Bo this month. It was Teacher's Day and our principal had kindly gave all of us a treat at Kushin Bo! This time, at Jurong Point instead of Suntec City. Suntec City Kushin Bo seems to be bigger however food at Jurong Point seems to be better! Special dish of the night was Lobster with cheese!! We didn't manage to eat it as it was all gone by the time it reached us. I didn't post photos of food this time as I had posted loads in the previous post with Piggy. I had posted just one photo. Went Kushin Bo with Piggy yesterday for dinner at Suntec City. Had made reservation way before Saturday as it was always pack on weekends. When we got there, there was a long queue. We were glad we made reservation! We went in and started gorging ourselves on the food! Looking at all the delicious food there, we decided to try everything! There wasn't a huge variety of food however I really like the desert section! They had all my favourite deserts! By the way, I will be going there again on next Wednesday with my colleagues! I can't wait!

Just like any Saturdays I met up with Piggy, we went Tampines 1 Kim Gary for dinner and teadot for a drink.

Cirtus and Violet Dream tea from teadot. Recommended by Piggy.
Citrus had a strong lemon taste and was really refreshing. I like it. Piggy didn't likeit though, he tasted
ginger in it. I thought it was okay. Violet Dream is earl grey with bergamot. It is slightly bitter and had a strong lavender taste.
Great place to chill especially after a heavy dinner.

Decided to go SAFRA Jurong Kbox after our work. SAFRA Jurong was opened in May. It has usual facilities as the other SAFRA clubs except it has Kbox, Kidz Amaze( children indoor playground), children's water playground and BazGym Gymnastics school. It also has a Japanese Theme foodcourt ! That's not all! It is really near to our workplace and we love to sing! Yeah! I love the interior retro theme design of Kbox and the new touch screen system. It was really cool. We went to the Japanese foodcourt to grab some dinner after that as we were famished!

It is Yiying's birthday and we, 6C (Yiying, Kim Hong, Lynna, Doreen, Serene and Me, we were secodary school buddies and we called ourselves 6C, which actually means 6 Chio Bu!(Pretty girls) Haha!) gathered at Lot 1's Dian Xiao Er for the celebration! We had a sumptuous dinner of the famous herbal roasted duck,cereal prawn, stir-fry fish fillet and stir-fry crocodile! Guess what? We even ordered crocodile soup! It was my first time trying crocodile meat and soup! Crocodile soup is really nutritious and good for general health purposes. The crocodile meat is really tough and tasted like chicken! I didn't really like it.hot
After the dinner, we went to a cafe to have some derserts. Couldn't remember the name! They sell cold deserts like snow ice, puddings and hot deserts. We ordered snow ice.
While enjoying our snow ice, Yiying's bf actually came to surprise her with a huge bouquet of flowers and a birthday cake!

Went to ION with Stephanie, Samantha and Bernice on Friday. Most of the shops had opened by now. The shops are similar to those at Paragon however bigger. They even have shop like Province. I love their bread. Now you don't have to go down to Holland Village or Central to get it! There was a great cafe which caught my eye, the Gustimo De Roma. It is a desert cafe. I love the interior design and I even love desertsss more!! Piggy let's go there next week!

My PSP has a new look!

My boring pink PSP finally has a new look! :D I had pasted a skin that I had bought from istyle a couple of days ago! Yeahhhh! I love the new look! It totally matches my pink buttons! It even comes along with a free matching background wallpaper! Actually I had wanted to order new skins for my iPhone and saw many pretty PSP skins and I knew I had to get one.

I also ordered a skin for Kim's new 4th Gen ipod and a sleeve. In the end I ordered two iphone skins, one PSP skin, one iPod skin and a sleeve which cost me more than $70! It is worth it as i really love the skins. It helps to spice up the boring colour as well as protect from scratches. I had ordered a skin for my iPod some time ago and decided to get one for my iPhone as well! Here it is:

No I didn't purchase the new iphone. Piggy did. Piggy had given me his old iphone. What is the reason? Firstly I didn't want to spend $288. Secondly I don't need the extra new functions of compass, voice control, video recording or bigger space of 16G. I am satisfied with 8G. I still miss my old phone actually. Miss the buttons. Yes the buttons. My sms hit more than 1000 a month. Somewhat I enjoyed smsing. Now i have no more buttons. My fingers cried for smsing once in a while. You won't believe it.

Now back to iphone. I love my iphone more each day. I had more than 20 applications now. One of my favourite application game is Sally Spa. I love the game so much I had purchased it at a mere US$0.99! It is having a sale now. I am so going to complete all 50 levels!!

Some of the games I also enjoyed were Tap Tap Revenge though I got a little giddy after playing for too long and Sneeizes, it is so cute!

I had also found some marvalous must have applications such as SGSales, icab, Hungry?, Puri!, Keeper,Pixelpipe,transGuide, Dictionary, Wikipanion, SGMalls, Polarize and not forgetting my Facebook, Twitterific and ebuddy! Love them all!!

Wasn't really in the mood to do some serious blogging recently as I was down with a high fever and cold. I had fever for the whole of three days before it subsided. Didn't have much time to meet up with Piggy and stayed home even I was on a two days leave! Didn't get to go anywhere so no exciting posts. :( Had returned to work since Wednesday. Went home straight after work to finished up my Love or Bread Taiwan drama. That was how I came up with the song and the questions. Do you have an answer by now? Love or Bread?! Hah! The show was fantastic. Super romantic and sweet! Love it. Is currently watching another Korean drama now, also another great love story. I love romance shows. I wondered if it really happen in real life? Hmm...

Tom265.com really have some great shows for downloading. Check out the website if you are bored or a super big fan of Korean, Taiwan, Japan dramas. They also have a large variety of movies to choose from. Each episode is an hour long. So say bye to the laggy youtube short videos! You need to get an QvodPlayer before you can download the shows. Forget to mention the website is in Mandarin and you can only download the shows using Internet Explorer and avoid using Mozilla Firefox. It doesn't work. Happy Watching!

Marina South Pier

Piggy was planning to drive to Marina South and passed by this wonderful place and decided to stop by. It was the Marina South Pier. I wasn't at all excited about the place till I saw a big sea and a large ship that was moored at the pier. It was the Stewords Riverboat. The Stewords Riverboat is a non-motorized replica of the Mississippi steamboats of the 1800's. Why 'Stewrods'? They have got great 'Stews' and 'words(training programmes and seminars are conducted on board). And great 'stews' and great 'words' are put together by some faithful stewards thus called it Stewords Riverboat! The exterior of the ship looked really awesome especially during the evening time with all the lights and everything. The ship is opened daily for lunch and dinner. They served Mexican and Texas food called the Sante Fe Tex-Mex Grill. They are also open to functions and gatherings. We wanted to have our dinner there however it was full. :( We didn't make any resevations. Piggy promise we will make a reservation another time. :)

We went to the Famous Crab King for dinner instead. The Chilli Crab's sauce is really heavenly though the crab is not that fresh. It was pretty afforable too as they were having a promotion that day. On the whole the dinner was good. It is another great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Marina Barrage

Went to Marina Barrage with Piggy yesterday. The place was great, nice breeze, an open area for kites flying, picnic and sea view. It was pretty crowded with mainly families and tourists. Actually there wasn't many attractions, a fountain with children playing, gallery, cafe and restaurant however it is a great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city even though it is in the heart of the city. From the open field area, we could see skyscrapers and sea from far, jets zooming pass as they the stadium is nearby and they are rehearsing for NDP. We could even see Chinooks flying pass with the Singapore flag. We took a stroll along the dam and the open field. The purpose of the dam is to create a freshwater reservoir to provide water supply. It is to alleviate flooding of low lying areas in the city as well. It is also ideal for water activites such as dragonboating.

The sustainable singapore gallery showcases Singapore's efforts towards enviromental sustainability. There is a barrage model demostrating how the Marina Barrage works. We were there late and we miss the introduction to the barrage model. The gallery was pretty interesting and worth visiting.
7th Storey restaurant is the only restaurant there. The serve steamboat and some other food such as crabs, chicken, veggies etc. They have indoor and outing sitting. The outdoor sitting has nice sea view. Not sure how is the food however the price is exorbitant. Currently they are having DBS 1 for 1 promotion right now however with a min of 4 pax. We went suntec city Crsytal Jade for dinner instead. We had a good dinner. Piggy agreed we go for a picnic and kite flying one of the days. Overall the place was pretty good, just go there with an open mind.
Remember sunblock and shades if going in the afternoon, it can be quite sunny!

I am so so so tired after a whole day of photoshooting for my sis's new blogshop. I will try to put up the pictures and link when it is done and I am free!

Dogs Day Out in the Park

For all dog lovers out there! There will be a dog carnival on this coming Sunday at West Coast Park!!! It is free admission and the first 300 to register takes home a "doggie bag" fill with goodies inside!! OMG. My dog will definitely love it. Love the goodies I mean and not the carnival. LOL! They also have a 1km-jog-a-walk, dog perfomances, competitions, products on sale and free PHOTOSHOOT! My dog is not very sociable. Usually when we bring it out for a walk or to the dog run, it tends to cling to us. As it is afraid of getting lost. He doesn't seems to be interested in other dogs from what I observed. He doesn't play with them at all! He simply just sniff them that's all, especially their bottoms. Haha. Basically he thinks he is a human being. Doesn't make sense when he socializes with other dogs right? Anyway I so want to bring my dog for this carnival however I might have something on that day. Sigh. I actually asked Piggy to bring his Bebe along and I bring peanut along and we will have lots of fun! However, you know Pigs don't wake up early.

The haunted house

Good and bad news.

Good news! I can play my Sims3 now!! Finally! My kind sis allowed me to play it on her lappie. The only problem is now, the people I invited doesn't seem to leave my house! Why is that so???? I tried to ask them to leave, shoo them and even scared them but it doesn't seem to work! The people walked in and out of my house as they like! What horrifying was, one of them actually died in the house!! It was an old lady. She stood in the kitchen for whole of 5 days before she died. This is not the worst. She came back. Her soul actually came back! It was pink in colour and translucent. She move freely in the house and my furnitures actually moved by itself. I told Piggy and he actually laughed at me. :( He said the house is haunted... -_-" Has this happened to anyone before??? Any solutions?? How can I stopped her from coming back into the house?? The game is not fun anymore.. it is scary!
On the whole the game is pretty alright. It will be good if there are more variety of furnitures and stuff.

Here comes the bad news, the world greatest rockstar Michael Jackson is dead. He died of cardiac arrest. What a pity. I am not a great fan of him but his songs had touch many people's heart. I can say he is also the world's best dancer! Michael Jackson you will always be remembered. R.I.P

My phone is dead

My Sony Ericsson W910i which was given me from Piggy was dead. DEAD! The sliding screws came off a couple of months ago and now the buttons doesn't work anymore!! :( I called up Sony Ericsson service centre and the repairing cos more than $80+ just to fix the screws not including the buttons. I guess I had to get a new phone. I am not going to pay that kind of money just to fix an old phone. Sigh. Currently I am using my sis's old Nokia phone. I didn't like it at all. I want a new phone!! What depressing was I couldn't get back all my contacts! I had set a security code to my phone and the buttons were faulty and I couldn't get to the main page. How stupid can i get?? The reason why I did that was I am always losing my phone. I lost a phone on a taxi once! To prevent them from using my phone I decided to set a sercurity code to it. Am I clever or stupid? Actually I wanted to get a new phone right away. I really like iphone. I had check out the new N97, however didn't like it as it makes too much noise when you slide the keypad. I still prefer iphone. Piggy suggested me to buy when the new iphone is out. It will be out somewhere in July! The old iphone price will most probably reduce when the new iphone is out. So I am waiting really patiently. So old or new iphone? I am in dilemma right now. The new iphone speed is faster and and has new video functions.
It really has to depend on my budget now as I didn't mention my wisdom tooth extraction cost me $800++??? Luckily I had mediasave which help to cover part of the fee and Piggy had helped me to foot the bill first. Piggy is so sweeet. Muacks!

Did I mention my parents are back from Shanghai? Yes they were away for an eight day tour to Shanghai with the host "Zhou Cong Qing". I got to do the chores and settle my own meals for 8 days! I was really moody. LOL! I am so so so glad they are back now! I really missed them a lot. It is really great to have them around as I don't have to worry about anything at home when I am at work. Now I know how difficult it is to make sure everything is running smoothly at home!
My parents bought two mini iphones back from China. They were for my cousins and they were damn cute!! Each of them comes along with a mini black iphone pouch. Really nice. They were not authentic and spoils easily though, that was what Piggy told me. However it is really cutee! Each of them cost only $130! Freaking cheap right? The model is m888a, comes with 2.4 inch display, VGA camera with 1.3 megapixel and 8GB. It also comes in colours, red, white and pink!! You can actually purchase this online however it cost a bit more.

I can't wait for the new iphone to launched! :D

I extracted my wisdom tooth!

Went to the dentist on Saturday to extract both my upper and lower wisdom tooth. It was a bad experience though it is not my first time doing an extraction and the doctor is skilled and gentle. Luckily I had Piggy with me and I felt slightly better. Love you Piggy!
I had to do a minor surgery for my lower wisdom tooth as my tooth was half buried in the gum. :( The upper wisdom need no surgery but normal extraction. They first took a x-ray of my lower wisdom tooth to make sure it is safe to extract and explained the procedure to me. Luckily the tooth was not near the nerves and I do not have to see an oral surgeon! Seeing an oral surgeon cost a bomb and might need general anesthesia. Why it is unsafe to do extraction when the lower wisdom tooth is near the nerves? As it might affect your nerves and cause numbing to your lips! It might also cause infection to your sinus if your upper wisdom tooth is near to the nerves as well. Scary isn't it?

Before they started the surgery they first sprayed something onto my gum for the anesthesia. I had a total of 7 vaccinations! My mouth is damn swollen now! I had 3 for the lower and 2 for the upper and another 2 during the surgery as it is causing me some pain. The needle actually go through your gum. The needle was bent when it came out of my mouth!

Next they exposed my gum with a tool, not sure how it is done and drill the tooth to make it smaller. They later crack my tooth into half. I can actually hear the "crack" sound. It was really horrible. They pushed my tooth out after that, piece by piece as it was broken into four pieces! Some square sponges was being inserted into the wound and sew up after that. Next they extracted my upper wisdom tooth by pulling it out. It didn't take too long and the whole procedure was done. I was given some medicine, gauze, mouth wash and four days of mc! I felt much more better thinking I will be staying home the next few days! I am glad it is finally over! The wisdom tooth had been bothering me for a really long time! I am still having the swell hopefully it will subside soon. I can't take any food that is hard too. Brushing my teeth and talking is a problem. I got to go back to the dentist two weeks later to have my sitches removed and get another filling. Sigh!

It is the durian season again. We were eating at the coffee shop when we saw lots of people queueing near the durian stall holding a basket in their hands. We heard people shouting"Ji Ka" meaning ten cents in Hokkien. The durians were selling at 10 cents each. Yes. 10 cents, however limited to maximum ten durians each person. It was really really cheap!!!! Personally I don't really like durians.I had a violent diahhrea after eating too many durians when I was young! Since then, I dare not touch another durian!
The "10 cents per durian" promotion started yesterday. From 6pm to 7pm. Tomorrow will be the last day.
PS: Beware of flying and rolling durians.

Nokia has a new phone! It is out today and SOLD OUT! :( I wanted to get a new phone badly! Currently I am using sony ericsson phone which hasn't got much functions. I got that phone the other time as I wanted something which is compact and simple. Now I WANT a multi functional phone so I can have access to my facebook, msn, email, twitter,blog,youtube and stuff. Piggy has an iphone and is going to get the new iphone which will only be out in August. I am wondering should I get the iphone or N97! I'll probably get it next month or the following as I am totally broke this month after purchasing my keyboard, Sims3 and some other stuff! Sigh. N97 is simply damn cool!

Woke up with a stiff neck yesterday morning. I couldn't turn my head to the left! It was really uncomfortable and painful. :( What is happening to me? Recently I had been getting body aches. Was it due to stress or I am just tired? I had no clue. Lately I had been real busy with my school carnival, parent and teacher meeting and holiday programme. I couldn't wake up every morning and dragged my feet to work. Guess I need a break real soon.
I am going to extract my wisdom tooth next Saturday! I get to rest for a couple of days after that. Is it good or bad news?? I am really glad Piggy is going with me. :D He is going for dental check up as well. I am sooooo happy tomorrow is Friday again! Meanwhile I am not going to think about anything els and enjoy my Ben and Jerry's cake batter ice cream! Yum!

My terrapin has a new home!

My kind sister went to the pet shop and got my terrapin a new home!!:D

My terrapin was really happy! I think it is happy. LOL!
It's previous home was a small round tank which was smaller.

The terrapin was given to me as a class pet from a parent.
The parent brought their son to the farm and brought 5 terrapins back for us!
They gave each class a terrapin. Guess what happened to the rest of the terrapins? They are all in heaven now. R.I.P
My terrapin was the only survivor.
I took really good care of it alright? I tried taking care of the rest of the terrapins as well however I was unable due to my work and I already had a terrapin to take care of and I am afraid I got to take care of all of them in the end. I already had two large terrapins at home! My mother will not be please if i bring back another 5 and that would be 7! My other colleagues was too busy with their work and nobody wanted to be responsible for the terrapins. It was really sad to see the terrapins getting fewer each week.
I had the terrapin in school for a few months and decided to bring it back as nobody wanted to take care of my terrapin when I am on leave and during the weekends. You can imagine my mother's reaction! LOL!

Went La Cantina In Venezia at Changi Village Hotel with Piggy yesterday and had a sumptuous Italian meal! Yum!
Th ambiance was really great indoor however I chose to sit outdoor which has a sea view.
It was really nice and quiet.

I can't play Sims3 on my Acer Aspire One!

Bought sims3 today and was really excited about it until I tried to run the game and realized my Acer Aspire one couldn't support the video card!!!!!
When I run sims3 an error message popped up and said "Device 0 cannot run this title. No supported video graphics card detected. Please check your system hardware." I was devastated!! I couldn't believe what I saw! Actually I had expected this might happened I had a GMA 950 which is not enough to run the program. :( Piggy had also warned me previously.. :~( However I insisted on buying as I loved the game too much and wanted to give it a try.. I am so sad! I was really looking forward to play. What I can only do is to run the game on another computer or buy a supported video card to run on my Acer Aspire One which cost like a bomb?! :(
I hope I can get a chance to play Sims3. I am sure Piggy is going to help me fix the problem. right Piggy? I really want to play Sims3!!!!!

I got a new keyboard!!!!

Yes!! I got a new keyboard finally! Since young I really envious those who has piano or keyboard and always wanted to have one too. I didn't get to learn piano when I was young as I have two other siblings. It is not easy to send all of us for classes due to financial reason. I started to learn keyboard at a community center when I was in secondary school and I stopped after 1 month! I found the songs too kiddish and I was too lazy to get myself over the overhead bridge to get to the community center! Am I really lazy or what?? LOL!
When I started working, a really kind friend of mine wanted to teach me piano for free! She even got me books and everything. I had to go over her house every week after my work. Again, I stopped learning after 2 months as I was too tried to go over after work. I felt really bad seriously, I had let her down. I am sorry!

Now I am determined to learn piano once again! I hope my interest can last this time! :D
I am also determined to learn one of my favourite classical pieces, Canon in D!

Found this video of Canon in D in rock version and I really like it. It is so niceeeee!!

And oh yes! Sims3 is out today!! I didn't managed to get it today as I was too busy buying my new keyboard, shall get it tomorrow!

I LOVE MACARONS

Piggy is going to say I am childish again by blogging about Macarons. This time is different! I swear! I had to blog! My sister came home today with a super big packet of Macarons!!! Guess how much it cost?? It cost $14++ for twelve fat and chewy Macarons!!!!!!! Which means 1 Macaron is only $1.20!! It is just damn cheap!!!! Macarons brought from Canele or Bakerz Inn cost around $1.80 to $2++ each! And these Macarons taste a lot better! She got the Macarons from Tangs. A packet of 10 Macaron of the same flavour cost $10. $1 for one. If you like to pick and mix the flavours, it will cost $1.2o each, it is still cheap! Heard from my sister they were selling like hotcakes. I got to go down to Tangs one day and see for myself! I could not believe it!!!!! I just loveee Macaronssssss!

Didn't manage to go Timbre today, Serene and I were there late as we were busy shopping! LOL! We reached there about 8plus and there was already a long queue! We waited for 1 hour and we gave up! We were hungry and hot and I was feeling really itchy(there were plenty of red ants and mosquitoes around). More people came to join the queue however no one was leaving! I waited patiently though, Serene was getting real impatient and we decided to leave the place. We went to curry favour instead. I shall upload the photos again tomorrow as I am feeling really tired now!! o_OZzz Bye now!

Woman's Talk

I felt rejuvenated after a whole 2 and a half hours of pampering at Women's Talk!

It was a last minute decision, I was suppose to meet Joanna, however I thinking my nails really need a makeover, I decided to go for a pedicure!! My toe nails are really brittle and crack easily. So I booked an appointment with them for a pedicure at first. I had a package with a balance of 5 manicure and a foot wax which I sign up two months ago. When I got there, I decided to sign up for another manicure package. Doing pedi and manicure can be really addictive!! The pedi and manicure consists of a scrub, scrap, massage, trimming of cuticles, filing, two nail art and nail polish. I really enjoyed the massage and scrub.
Since I had a foot wax and now, a hand wax after signing up the manicure package, I decided to do a foot and hand wax. My hands and feet felt really smooth after that! I am looking foward to another pedi and manicure session!! Who wants to go with me??

After resting at home for 2 days, I am back to work! I woke up with the lethargic feeling once again. Didn't sleep well again last night, however was a lot better compared to the past two days. When I reached my work place, I was back on track and feeling enthusiastic about my work once again. Wouldn't it be great if I have a couple more days to rest?! hee.. :D I am daydreaming again! Sigh.

Went shopping at Jurong Point with Joanna after work and brought a new dress and a top! Great singapore sale is now on!! Wee! We planned to go shopping again tomorrow after work! I can't wait to go to work tomorrow!
I am eyeing on a keyboard now. Hope to get one next month! Piggy let's go shopping for a keyboard next week! :D

Oh yes, I will also be meeting Serene this coming Friday!

Insomnia. Stress. Anxiety

Couldn't sleep whole of last night and woke up in the morning with head feeling heavy, listless and lethargic and was a day off from work. This is not the first time I am feeling this way, actually for months. I am having really bad insomnia and it really affects my work and mood the very next day. Why is this so?? I believe I am under some kind of stress, from work perhaps! I am getting occasionally headaches, heart palpitation and gastric problems. Many times I feel I need to do something, however my workload seems to be lesser now, yet I am still getting insomnia. The anxiety I am having had accumulated over the years when I first started off working as a pre-school teacher in one of the neighborhood schools till now. Piggy once told me every job is stressful, I agreed, however the stress I am having seems to be a little too much for me to cope.

Hopfully it is just a phase I am going through and will be alright soon! =X

Piggy and I went to town to look for a birthday present for my dad and found this new lovely restaurant in Paragon, COVA, an Italian restaurant that serve mainly pastries, steak and other dishes. I couldn't resist the pretty beautiful decor, great ambiance and pretty pastries that I suggested we should go in for some pastries after dinner and Piggy agreed without hestitation! <3 Piggy.

I loved the beautiful decor especially the ceiling lights.

Loads of lovely candles for sale. Did I say I have a collection of more than 50 candles, holders and burners at home?
I simply can't resist them! Every one of them looked so pretty and I just love the fragrance.
I actually displayed them in my room and not lighting them up as candles can kill! If you like to light up candles in your house, avoid putting them on top of your televisions, wall, curtains or papers. Most of out candles are made from paraffin wax, burning candles in air-conditional rooms can release toxic during burning but that doesn't bother me at all. I love them too much! :D

Yipee! Next Friday is a school holiday and I need not go to work!! :D I can't wait for Friday to come!

Was browsing books at the book store when I came across this book, Cut.
A heartwarming story of a young girl who has a terrible childhood, rejected by her parents and left to fend for herself, then subjected to violent treatment by her relatives then soon realizes that her worst enemy is herself.

I really admire Cathy Glass's strength, patience ,courage and enthusiasm. She is an author and foster carer. She has been a foster carer for over 20 years and looked after more than 50 children! She begin writing the books to highlight the plight of vulnerable children and hopefully to improve the system.

As an educator myself, I have never work with foster kids before and does not know how it feels like being one. Working with children is tough, working with foster kids is even tougher? I am sure I will need a lot of courage, strength, patience and tolerence. I really take my hat off her!
Cathy Glass's stories are really inspiring and made me even more want to make a difference in every child's life and help children in need whenever I can.

What a great dinner we had at Swissotel Merchant Court Ellenborough Market!

My tummy is really bloated now as I guess I ate too many deserts! I simply loved deserts!
I didn't eat much though as my tummy wasn't feeling quite well, however my sis, Kim really enjoyed herself, she couldn't stopped gorging down the shark fin soup. Guess how many bowls she had?? EIGHT! We didn't manage to take many pictures. You know why, she was too busy stuffing her face.

Overall the food was alright, I recommend the durian puree, oysters, crayfish and shark fin soup, the rest of the food wasn't that fantastic and there were only like 6 stations? I expected more variety of food.

I really like chocholate fondue. Sadly there wasn't any strawberries! They only had mashmallows, grapes, starfruit and other tropical fruits. There wasn't many deserts to choose from but it doesn't bother me as long as there are deserts!

I hope my mummy enjoyed her Mother's Day dinner! Happy Mother's Day mummy! I love you!

We brought Peanut along. It was my sister's idea! The hotel didn't allowed dogs in their premises and we nearly got to go home! Luckily the manager was kind enough to let us in, we were given a special place outside the restaurant.
Actually my sister had called the hotel to checked if dogs are allowed and they said yes and we were be given a special sitting, however when we got there, the hotel manager said no! We had a long discussion and finally he agreed. Phew! Hopefully we didn't get him into trouble!

Here is another story about me and Samantha. Haha. She is my another great buddy. In fact we are primary school friends!! We were both from Fuhua Primary School. We were from the same class, me, Samantha and Tin Leng always hang out together. Oh yes, my classmates loved to bully me as well, for the same reason i guess? See my previous post. However i was pretty tough then, if you dare lay your hand s on me you shall get it from me! Haha. I remembered dragging a guy from a broom. His knees were brusied from the abrasion from the ground. LOL! Let me explain, he actually hit me with the broom first! With no apparent reason.

We don't mean to really bully or hurt each other, simply out of fun I guess.

I wondered where has my toughness gone?
When I got to Secondary School, I was espe cially afraid of the Indian girls and Malay boys in my class. I always got bullied by them, there was once I even fought with them .
I really hate them. To get away from them, I studied real hard. In the end I got into the first class and they didn't managed to get promoted. Served them right!

Life is strange isn't it? In my life I often faced many challenges. Work,school,and relationship. If you work hard, I have to work e xtra hard.
I didn't do well for my school. Luckily I managed to find a job that I really liked and is doing well now. :)
For those who is facing many challenges in their life like me, It is not the end of the world! Stay strong and be positive! :D

Had a great time at Holland Village with my best best secondary school buddy, Serene yesterday!
It has been a long time since we had such fun together! Really missed the school days. Serene was transferred from another school and I didn't have any friends then. Perhaps of my curry puff hair and innocent face. Yes, curry puff. My classmates used to call me that. It was my mummy actually who liked to comb my hair that way. I didn't think It was strange or funny then, I actually loved my hair. Haha! And didn't changed my hair style till later! Perhaps that is why my classmates loved to bully me! Me and Serene sat together in the class and we became best friends! We went for recess together, played together, went to each other's houses and talked on the phone all the time. Serene was really kind or can I say stupid to be my friend! Haha!

Having problem viewing your blog or posting your post?? I am having the same error message! I even had it twice in a row! I am having problem with my html as well. What is happening?? It seems like it is a system problem. I hope they can fix it soon! My font is going haywire as well! See my previous post? I couldn't edit my font. It has different font! When I tried to edit my font or message, the error message appeared! It says to report the error. I had reported the error and they claimed they will give us update and fix the problem.

I couldn't wait for them to fix the problem and I actually fix it myself!
what you can do if you see the error message is, go to your dashboard, layout, edit html and revert widget to default. This could solve the problem for the first time, however not for the second! I hope they can fix the problem real soon!

Had dinner with my mummy and daddy at IMM just now. We went to "Wan Zhai", a HongKong restaurant. They have a variety of food, from noodles to baked rice. They have some really great snacks and deserts as well.

Actually I don't really fancy HongKong restaurant food,I prefer Japanese, Chinese and Western food, however there is a HongKong restaurant called Kim Gary located at Vivocity and Tampines 1, which I think has the best food.I recommend their spicy porkchop noodles, mushroom with cheese sauce,grilled beef and french fries.

I didn't managed to cut my hair yesterday as my hair stylist was away. :( We went Cineleisure Suki Sushi for dinner. The food there was not fantastic, I prefer Sushi-tei or Sakae. The sides were not bad though, we ordered tako-yaki,temaki,fried toufu and a couple of other sides. The cha soba was soggy and sauce a little bland, far from what I had expected. The desert was good though, better when go along with some ice-cream!

I am going to the salon again tomorrow!
